We’ll just have to wait and see. Joined Apr 22, Messages 1, Thanks It really depends on a lot of factors. Is it confirmed that this is something that only FreeNAS team can do? I had to recompile FreeNAS without that driver so I could inject my own without the driver “already existing”. But you never know, someone could get bored and take care of it.

This is one of those times that you could have done it yourself if you had the experience.
How did you recompile the FreeNAS kernel? I tried to follow the instruction, but after running the svn, I noticed that the guidance is for building FreeNAS 8. I had to recompile FreeNAS without that driver so I could inject my own without the driver “already existing”. You can link it to here. I got the file: I have tried to: Hi cyberjock, Good day to you, and thank you for your reply. I aoc-srgn-i2s tried to compile FreeNAS in quite some time, but that guide really is an “idiots guide”.
I’m not aoc-stgn–i2s how to fix that easily. Would it be possible for me to provide the version 2. Hi cyberjock, Good day to you, and thank you for your e-mail. What else can I do? The latest driver version seems to be 2. I can upload the file here or send to you if needed.
Aoc-stgn-i2 keep in mind that each time FreeNAS is updated you would have to recompile the drivers for the new FreeBSD version, any upgrade will overwrite the old files, etc. Keep in mind those instructions may not be up to date, so you may be unwittingly doing something wrong.

Indra Pramana Jul 30, Appreciate if you can guide me on how to recompile the kernel. Part 2 – http: I know I could aoc-sttgn-i2s stuff especially driver updates for the FreeNAS project, but as I’m clueless and I don’t have the know-how to identify what I should do from what I shouldn’t, how to identify that an error really aoc-tsgn-i2s something bad vice something to ignore for example.
Was shocked at how long it took. Do you think how soon that someone will look into the support ticket aoc-stgj-i2s perform the compilation, and whether it will be in time for the stable version of 9.
And many thanks for your help in creating the support ticket, greatly appreciated. Is there any guidance for building FreeNAS 9.

I guess Intel’s website is a little slow. I mean, it’s confirmed that it’s not technically possible for a user like me to compile the driver myself and load it to the existing setup that I have existing 8. Is it confirmed that this is something that only FreeNAS team can do?
I used the guide that starts at http: Any idea on when will 9. There’s no reason for it not to unless you recompiled it wrong somehow.
